The Future is a Machine: Is that A.I. Okay?

This is the first in a series of audio posts, created by a human (Dr. Neil Leveridge) using his own creativity—expanded, refined, and occasionally redirected by AI. Inspired by the work of Laurie Anderson, this piece explores the boundaries between human and machine, thought and prediction, art and automation.

The soundscape was composed by Nobou from Artlist.io, the narration was generated through Artlist.io’s AI voice tools, and the final edit—after much fine-tuning—was completed using Camtasia.

A collaboration, but who’s leading?

A machine can process language, but does it understand? It can generate a voice, but does it speak? It can write, but does it know what it’s saying?

So, is that AI okay?

Or is it just playing back what it thinks we want to hear?
